Student leaders in Chipata District have expressed their appreciation for the achievements of President Hakainde Hichilema and his administration, particularly in the education sector.

Speaking during a press briefing in Chipata, representatives of the student movement said the President's reforms have had a significant impact on learners across the country and argued that he should be given the opportunity to continue implementing his development agenda.

Mr Phiri also commended the government's large-scale recruitment of teachers, describing it as a move that has not only strengthened the education system but also inspired and encouraged aspiring educators.

Meanwhile, Zambia National Students Union Vice-President Mwanto Kabaso said student leaders had agreed to support President Hichilema, citing what they described as the administration's positive record and commitment to improving the lives of young people through education and other development initiatives.
