President HH Donates K10 Million to Chiwempala Market Traders
Traders at Chiwempala Market are receiving financial assistance from President HH after their goods were destroyed in a fire. The K10 million donation will be shared among traders who were affected by the blaze. President HH recently spoke to the people of Chingola and promised the traders this donation. He has now delivered on that promise.
Committee Chairperson for the Chiwempala Market fire victims, Bishop Kazhila, said the money will go a long way towards helping the affected traders recover. He also stressed the importance of traders using the funds appropriately to rebuild their businesses.
Bishop Kazhila thanked President HH for supporting the traders and prayed for the incumbent President and his Government.
Traders' representative David Kansansa spoke on behalf of the traders and thanked the President for his generosity. He went on to say that President HH would have the traders' support in the upcoming General Election.
UPND Chingola District Chairman Mr Kapalu urged traders to take care of the market and praised President HH for his generosity.
