PF Shared Eurobond Money Among Themselves- Mutati

Felix Mutati revealed that the PF borrowed money under the Eurobond which was never used for its intended purpose.

Speaking at a rally in Nchelenge District, former finance minister under PF Mutati said that the former ruling government misused the Eurobond, sharing funds among themselves.

“They borrowed money to say we want to invest in Zambia Railways Limited but the money never reached the company” said Mutati.

Vice-President Mutale Nalumango said the PF is gone and will never return to power despite their name change to NRPUP.

She added that electorates should make sure they are well informed before casting their vote. Vice-President Nalumango stressed that PF has not changed. She said that “Mutati worked with them and they fired him because they liked borrowing and he was not for the idea…UNIP is gone MMD is equally gone, and PF will also never come back.”

She said that “even if they change their name, a crocodile is a crocodile.” She recalled that “in 2021 we were not allowed to have meetings here as UPND? We were scared of being beaten…Hasn’t Hichilema brought freedom?” She cited free education and the restoration of the economy as key achievements of the UPND government.
