2,600 new Healthcare positions created across the country

The Civil Service has announced the creation of 2,600 healthcare jobs across the country in a bid to boost employment and increase healthcare access.

Civil Service Commission Chairperson Dr Beyani explained that the Commission and the Ministry of Health will collaborate to launch a nationwide recruitment campaign.

The advertisement will be published in the Zambia Daily Mail and the Times of Zambia on Tuesday 14 July 2026. It will be republished on Thursday 16 July.

Dr Beyani said, "The purpose of the advertisement is to invite suitably qualified Zambians to submit applications for various positions in different healthcare sectors." He also noted that applicants need to clearly indicate the district in which they would prefer to work.

The advertisement will run for three weeks, and applicants must submit their application documents through the Post Office within the prescribed time period.

A verification process will take place for applicants between 1 and 11 September 2026. Applicants will verify their details at their district health office. This will ensure the accuracy and credibility of the recruitment database.
