Mudolo Pays PF Presidential Nomination Fee
South African-based Willah Mudolo has officially entered the race for Patriotic Front president after paying the required nomination fee.
Mudolo has paid K200,000 to contest for the PF presidency at the party's general conference scheduled for 29 November 2025. Receipts of the payment were shared on social media pages aligned with the opposition party.
In his letter to the PF Secretary General, Mr Mudolo said he was committed to contributing to what he called "the next chapter of the party's transformation."
"The Patriotic Front has an enduring legacy as a mass movement for ordinary Zambians," he wrote. "Today, our country stands at a critical moment that demands renewed leadership, unity of purpose, and a bold vision to restore hope, economic prosperity, and national dignity."
Mr Mudolo outlined his vision for people-centred development, economic empowerment, and strong social protection. He promised leadership that would drive industrialisation, innovation, and job creation.
"Zambia deserves a future full of opportunities for every teacher, farmer, youth, worker, entrepreneur, and civil servant," he said.
The presidential hopeful said he had conducted consultations across party structures and listened to members and communities. He claimed the feedback showed people wanted "disciplined, visionary, and compassionate leadership that puts national interest above personal gain."
Mr Mudolo pledged to comply with all procedural requirements and support a smooth conference process. He expressed gratitude to current party leadership and grassroots structures whilst awaiting guidance on next steps.
