"Trump Jr. Meets President Hichilema During Private Visit

President Hakainde Hichilema announced that he met with Mr. Donald Trump Jr. during a private vacation in Zambia.

According to the President, Trump Jr. expressed his admiration for Zambia's natural resources, the warmth of its people, and the investment opportunities the country offers to businesses.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the President stated: "We conveyed our warm regards to his father, US President Donald J. Trump, and affirmed our commitment to fostering enhanced US–Zambia relations."

Officials have noted that although Trump Jr.'s visit was unofficial, it underscores Zambia's profile as an attractive tourist destination and investment hub. It also highlights the potential for strengthened engagement between Lusaka and Washington.
