Kulima Tower Bus Drivers Offer Free Festive Rides

Bus drivers operating from Lusaka’s Kulima Tower Bus Station today spread festive cheer by offering free rides to selected commuters as part of end-of-year celebrations.

The goodwill gesture, which ran from 06:00 to 18:00 hours, was extended to passengers born in the months of December and January. Eligible commuters were allowed to board buses free of charge , drawing smiles and excitement from many early-morning travelers.

Kulima Tower Bus Station Chairman Nicholas Banda said the initiative was designed to give back to loyal commuters who have supported the station and its operators throughout the year. He noted that the festive season was a time for appreciation, unity and sharing.

The response was overwhelming, with many commuters praising the drivers for their generosity and festive spirit. Some beneficiaries expressed surprise and gratitude, saying the free rides eased their transport burden and added joy to their day.
