Bishops Council Commends HH's Commitment to Peace

Bishops Council of Zambia Vice President Agness Pushi has welcomed President Hakainde Hichilema’s commitment to justice, peace and inclusive development.

Reverend Pushi says the President’s assurance that Zambia will have no militia is a major step towards strengthening institutional governance and rejecting intimidation in national affairs.

She says the commitments made during yesterday’s national address put ordinary Zambians at the centre of the country’s development agenda.

Reverend Pushi has also called for continued prayer for the nation’s leaders, saying they need wisdom and strength to turn their commitments into tangible results.
