ICGLR Hails Peaceful Pre-Election Atmosphere

The International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) Election Observation Mission has commended Zambians for maintaining peace during the pre-election period.

Mission head and former Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi urged political stakeholders and citizens to preserve the peaceful atmosphere as the elections approach.

“The ICGLR commends the peaceful atmosphere observed throughout the pre-electoral period,” Dr Masisi said in Lusaka.
