Presidential Ballot Papers Printing Completed in Dubai

The printing of ballot papers for Zambia's presidential election ahead of the 13 August 2026 General Elections has now been completed in Dubai.

Al Ghurair General Manager Lakshmanan Ganapathy confirmed that approximately eight million presidential ballot papers have been printed and individually serialised.

He made the announcement during a visit to the company's printing facility by a delegation led by Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Commissioner Zevyanji Sinkala, who is overseeing the ballot production process.

The delegation includes representatives of eight presidential candidates, civil society organisations, the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities, members of both the public and private media, and officers drawn from the country's security services.

Mr Ganapathy also reported that ballot papers for 45 parliamentary constituencies have already been printed since production began over the weekend. He added that work is also under way on Braille ballot jackets and mayoral ballot papers.

Fourteen candidates are contesting the presidency in Zambia's General Elections on 13 August 2026.
