Nalumango Seeks UPND Backing During Muchinga Visit

Vice President Mutale Nalumango has begun a three-day working tour of Muchinga Province, where she is also campaigning for the United Party for National Development (UPND) ahead of the August elections.

Mrs Nalumango arrived in Chinsali at around 4.30 p.m. and was welcomed by provincial government officials, UPND representatives and members of the party's alliance partners.

Speaking shortly after her arrival, the Vice President encouraged residents to support leaders with the vision and ability to drive national development. She appealed to voters to back President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND, pointing to initiatives such as the introduction of free education as evidence of the government's commitment to improving people's lives.

Mrs Nalumango said the governing party remains focused on accelerating the country's development agenda and delivering further economic reforms aimed at strengthening growth and improving livelihoods.
