Zambia Strengthens Strategic US Partnerships with Agreements on Critical Minerals and Digital Innovation

In a significant diplomatic and economic achievement, the Zambian government has secured three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading United States firms, positioning the country at the forefront of critical mineral processing, data sovereignty, and international investment.

The landmark agreements were formalized through the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) in a ceremony at Zambia's Embassy in Washington, D.C., under the stewardship of Ambassador Chibamba Kanyama.

The government's proactive engagement resulted in partnerships with Austin Elements, Lucid Circuit, and Busara Advisors Inc.—each representing strategic opportunities for Zambia's economic transformation.
