Barbara Banda Named To FIFPRO Women's World 11

Copper Queens captain Barbara Banda has been named to the prestigious FIFPRO Women's World 11 for the second consecutive year, marking another milestone in her illustrious career.

The Orlando Pride striker expressed her gratitude and humility on her Facebook page, stating: "I am beyond grateful and humbled to be once again among the eleven players that have been picked by our fellow players for the 2025 FIFPRO Women's World 11."

This year's selection holds special significance for African football, as Morocco's Ghizlane Chebbak also earned a spot in the lineup. Together, Banda and Chebbak represented the continent, with players from England and Spain comprising the remainder of the squad.

Banda's recognition comes on the heels of her instrumental role in helping Zambia qualify for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations. She will be hoping to lead her nation to victory when the tournament is held in Morocco next spring.
