President HH Holds Talks with US State Official
President Hakainde Hichilema held talks yesterday with the United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Frank Garcia Jr., as Zambia and Washington look to deepen their longstanding partnership.
Following the meeting, President Hichilema said Zambia deeply values its enduring friendship with the United States, a relationship built over many years of cooperation across trade, investment, health, education and development.
The President said he looked forward to further strengthening bilateral relations through increased trade, greater investment and mutually beneficial cooperation for the prosperity of both peoples. He expressed confidence that continued engagement between the two nations would open up fresh opportunities for growth and shared progress.
