Japan and Türkiye Congratulate President Hichilema on Re-election

President Hakainde Hichilema has received further messages of congratulation from across the globe, with the leaders of Japan and Türkiye commending his re-election as President of the Republic of Zambia.

In her message, Japanese Prime Minister Her Excellency Takaichi Sanae extended warm congratulations to President Hichilema and reaffirmed Japan's commitment to working closely with him to further deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. She expressed optimism that the partnership between Tokyo and Lusaka would continue to flourish during his new term in office.

Similarly, Türkiye's President, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, congratulated President Hichilema on his re-election, describing it as a reflection of the confidence the Zambian people have placed in his leadership.
