HH To Inspect Progress On Landmark Lusaka–Ndola Dual Carriageway

President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to visit the Lusaka–Ndola Dual Carriageway today to inspect progress on one of Zambia's most significant infrastructure projects.

Stretching 327 kilometres, the highway has for many years been one of the country's busiest and most hazardous roads, serving as the main link between Lusaka and the Copperbelt Province.

Its upgrade to a dual carriageway is expected to improve road safety, reduce journey times and support the more efficient movement of people, goods and services.

The project is also anticipated to deliver wider economic benefits. By improving connectivity along one of Zambia's key transport routes, it is expected to facilitate trade, attract investment and create employment opportunities.
