President Hichilema Visits Kapiri Mposhi
President Hakainde Hichilema is today visiting Kapiri Mposhi District in Central Province, where he will inspect major infrastructure projects at Mulungushi University and engage with members of the community.
Central Province Permanent Secretary Milner Mwanakampwe says President Hichilema is scheduled to arrive at Mulungushi University at 10:00 hours.
Speaking during a media briefing, Dr Mwanakampwe said the President will tour the ongoing construction of student hostels and a power substation project aimed at improving learning conditions and strengthening electricity supply at the institution.
He also said President Hichilema will interact with students and residents from surrounding communities to gain insight into their concerns and aspirations.
During the visit, the President is also expected to meet aspiring candidates ahead of the 13 August General Election.
President Hichilema is scheduled to depart for Lusaka at 14:00 hours after concluding his engagements.
