"Let's Deliver Zambia's Harvest Together" - Hamasaka Hails UPND Conference as Defining Moment
State House Chief Communication Specialist Clayson Hamasaka has called on every Zambian to unite behind President Hakainde Hichilema ahead of the 2026 general election, declaring: "Let's deliver Zambia's harvest together."
Hamasaka issued the rallying call as the UPND General Conference gets underway today — the party's flagship gathering, coming days after President Hichilema was confirmed unopposed as its presidential candidate at the weekend. Hamasaka described the nomination result as a clear signal of conviction among party members that this is the right leader for this moment.
Speaking on behalf of State House, Hamasaka pointed to a record of delivery that Zambians can see and feel. Free education has moved from political promise to lived reality for millions of families. Constituency Development Fund allocations of K40 million now reach every constituency annually, putting resources directly in the hands of communities. And the culture of political violence and cadre intimidation that once shadowed public life has been dismantled.
"These are not small things," Hamasaka said. "They are the foundation on which everything else is built."
But the message from State House was clear: this is not a moment to rest on achievements. The seeds planted across agriculture, mining, energy and education are ready for harvest — and President Hichilema goes into this election not merely defending a record, but leading a movement.
Zambians are urged to join the Salt Sana Movement and see the work through.
