Levy Ngoma Commends Hichilema’s Progress in Governance and Economy

Special Assistant to the President for Politics, Levy Ngoma, has highlighted the strides made under President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership, pointing to visible improvements in both economic stability and political conduct.

According to Ngoma, the President’s first term has been marked by tangible outcomes, with notable progress in stabilising the economy and promoting a peaceful political environment. He noted that by-elections under the UPND administration have been characterised by orderly, non-violent campaigns, a shift from the often tense political climate of the past.

The remarks were made during a welcoming ceremony for newly elected Lumezi Member of Parliament, Lufeyo Ngoma, held outside the National Assembly. The by-election, which saw Lufeyo Ngoma defeat five other candidates, was necessitated by the imprisonment of former MP Munir Zulu.

Ngoma framed the peaceful nature of recent campaigns as a sign of growing political maturity under the current government, suggesting that such developments are fostering public confidence and democratic integrity across the country.
