Edgar Lungu, Sixth President of Zambia, Dies

Former President Edgard Lungu has died aged 68.

Announced by the Patriotic Front earlier today, the party confirmed that Mr Lungu had been in South Africa receiving “specialised treatment” before his passing at 06:00 on Thursday 5th June.

Lungu was the Zambia's president from 2015 until 2021.
