President Hichilema Calls for Unity
During an address to the nation following the passing of former President Edgar Lungu, President Hakainde Hichilema called for peace, love and unity.
During an address broadcast across ZNBC on Thursday , the President commented “Let us embrace the bereaved family, the Patriotic Front party and their supporters with compassion and solidarity”.
The President went on to highlight the importance of not allowing political differences to hinder individuals from showcasing compassion and understanding to their fellow Zambians.
President Hichilema finished his address by reminding viewers that he will serve all Zambians equally, regardless of ethnicity, region, or political affiliation.
