Copperbelt University Students Applaud President Hichilema's Achievements

Students from various Copperbelt universities have praised President Hakainde Hichilema's accomplishments since assuming office in 2021.

Demonstrating their support, students marched from the university to the Central Business District. Copperbelt University Students' Union President Lloyd Nsongé commended the President for reintroducing student allowances, the ongoing construction of hostels, and increased Constituency Development Fund and Infrastructure Development initiatives.

Mr Nsongé also condemned the recent incident in Chingola, where individuals disrupted the President's visit to Chiwempala Market. "It is imperative and important that young people show decorum to the office of the President," he said. "The Republican President Mr Hakainde Hichilema is the leader who almost put his life on the line so that we can appreciate the peace, the tranquillity and order.”

The Students' Union President at Mukuba University echoed similar sentiments, praising the President's leadership and commitment to maintaining peace.
