NDC Fight Back

The National Democratic Congress has appealed its re-registration as a political party to the Minister of Home Affairs, Stephen Kampyongo.

In the meantime, they have discontinued any court proceedings on the de-registration.

Chishimba Kambwili made the announcement at a briefing on Monday where he outlined that the appeal will act as a stay of the decision by the Registrar of Societies to de-register the party.

The former PR MP urged members of his new party the NDC to keep mobilising and to call a national coordinating committee to address urgent matters affecting the party.
