NDC Complain To Police Over Video Threatening Violence Against Kambwili

The NDC have formally complained over a video posted online of a PF supporter threatening violence against Chishimba Kambwili.  The NDC Vice President Joseph Akafumba lodged the complaint himself with the Copperbelt police command and also the Inspector General’s office.

Inspector General Kakoma Kanganja acknowledged receipt of this complaint.

In his letter, Akafumba told police that the NDC had become aware of a video that issued death threats and that he knew this to be a criminal offence.

“I request you to investigate this matter and bring the culprits to book as quickly as possible because in matters of such nature like issuing threats to kill someone , urgency in handling the matter is of utmost importance”, Akafumba said.

“I have no doubt at all that with the gravity of the offence, we are reporting to your office investigations will immediately commence”, said  Akafumba  .
