President Buhari Re-Elected In Nigeria
Following a fiercely contested election in Nigeria the results have been announced and Muhammadu Buhari has been re-elected President.
In what many are deeming a humiliating defeat Buhari took the lead by over 4 million votes.
The PDP, and Mr Abubakar have rejected the results and cited voter intimidation and electoral fraud.
There were indeed delays and violence in the run up to the election, however no international observer has cited use of electoral fraud yet.
Turnout was just below 35% of registered voters. The commission will make a formal declaration today.
