President Lungu’s Salary Released

The Finance Minister Margaret Mwanakatwe has released that President Lungu will now receive K487,839.00 as an annual salary in addition to a special allowance of K129,413.00

The President’s salary increase will undoubtedly cause a stir given back in 2016 we reported that his wealth had increased from K10.9 million to K23 million in just one year. At the time UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema joked that the only economy growing at a fast rate in Zambia was the President’s personal economy.
