Police Cordon Off ZAMPOST Offices
The Copperbelt Police force have cordoned off the offices of four ZAMPOST directors. Police Commissioner Charity Katanga has confirmed that a team of police officers moved in yesterday evening to seal the area off.
This comes after news broke that foreign aid money was being siphoned off through ZAMPOST. Ms Katanga has said that she took the decision to seal off the offices to ensure no one has access during the ongoing investigations over misapplication of the social cash transfer funds.
The offices in question were occupied by director of finance a Mr Maichi, Director Of Operations Mr Isaac Kamwimba and Assistant Director Operations a Mr Musonda in the industrial area.
