Lewanika Children's Ward Receives K23,000 Oxygen Machine
The Mongu-based hospital in Western Province has been handed an oxygen concentrator worth K23,000, donated by Tonlex Investments.
lSpeaking during the handover, Tonlex Director of Business Development Amongtom Musonda said the donation is aimed at making sure no child loses their life simply because oxygen support is unavailable.
Musonda said the company hopes the machine will help doctors and nurses provide critical care to children who need oxygen. The donation is expected to strengthen oxygen support at the children’s ward and improve the hospital’s ability to respond to emergencies.
