Motorists Praise Progress on Lusaka–Ndola Road
Motorists travelling between Lusaka and Ndola have expressed broad satisfaction with the pace and quality of ongoing works on the dual carriageway linking Zambia's two largest cities.
Bus driver Peter Mvula said the improvements have already made a tangible difference to his daily operations, with vehicle maintenance costs falling and journey times shortening noticeably since construction began.
His sentiments were echoed by other regular users of the route, long regarded as one of the most economically significant corridors in the country, connecting the capital to the Copperbelt's industrial heartland.
The dual carriageway project forms part of the government's broader infrastructure drive aimed at reducing transport costs, stimulating trade, and improving road safety across Zambia's major arteries.
