President Hichilema Fulfills Church Pledge

President Hakainde Hichilema has honoured his promise to the Seventh Day Adventist Mulenga Hills Church in Kasama, donating K276,000 to the congregation.

The substantial contribution fulfills a pledge made during the President's visit to the church on August 13, 2022, showcasing his integrity and commitment to keeping promises made to Zambian communities.

Special Assistant to the President for Politics, Levy Ngoma, emphasized that this gesture reflects President Hichilema's unwavering dedication to upholding Zambia's cherished status as a Christian nation. The donation underscores the government's recognition of the vital role faith-based institutions play in national development and community welfare.

During a church service at the SDA Mulenga Hills congregation, Mr. Ngoma encouraged worshippers to embrace the President's vision of fostering love and unity among all Zambians. He stressed the importance of continued prayers for national leaders as they navigate the country's development agenda.

This fulfilment of the presidential pledge demonstrates the New Dawn Government's approach to governance—one built on accountability, transparency, and genuine partnership with religious communities.

The donation will significantly support the church's mission and community outreach programs, further strengthening the partnership between government and faith-based organisations in advancing Zambia's development goals.
