Roads, Hospitals, Jobs: HH's Promise to North Western

President Hakainde Hichilema today concluded his campaign rallies in Mushindamo, before proceeding to Manyinga and later Kalumbila, where he continued to rally support for the UPND ahead of the 13 August general election.

In Mushindamo, the President announced that Government had negotiated for local farmers who were previously left out of farming blocks to be included, enabling them to continue contributing to the country's food security.

He also announced plans to establish the Mushindamo Boma, construct district offices and staff houses, expand boarding facilities at Lamba Day School, and complete the Solwezi–Mushindamo–Kipushi Road.

The President further pledged the construction of a district hospital and a skills training centre, saying young people would benefit from Constituency Development Fund sponsorships to acquire vocational skills. He also assured volunteer nurses that recruitment would begin next month.

Throughout the day's rallies, President Hichilema urged Zambians to vote for the UPND on 13 August, saying it would enable Government to continue expanding youth employment, free education, social cash transfers and the Cash for Work programme.
