Gaming Association Welcomes President Hichilema’s Re-election

The Zambia Gaming Association (ZGA) has welcomed the re-election of President Hakainde Hichilema for a second five-year term, expressing optimism that his continued leadership will further strengthen and grow the country’s gaming industry.

ZGA Chairperson Noah Malungila said the sector has recorded notable improvements in regulatory compliance since President Hichilema took office in 2021.

Speaking in an interview with ZNBC News, Mr Malungila said the President’s renewed mandate reflects public confidence in his leadership and represents a continued commitment to peace, development and economic progress.

He further called on players in the gaming industry to uphold the law by complying with all regulations and meeting their tax obligations to the relevant authorities.
