HH Wraps Up Campaign Tour After 127 Rallies Across the Nation

President Hakainde Hichilema has rounded up his nationwide tour covering 116 districts and addressing 127 rallies ahead of Thursday’s August 13 general election.

Having launched his campaign on June 28 with a rally outside the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka before he embarked on a nationwide tour that took him to all 10 provinces.

State House stated that HH “seeks re-election this Thursday August 13 to serve a second five-year term of office.”

“8,786,300 people are registered as voters for the August 13 vote” State House added.

Yesterday, the President addressed thousands of students at State House yesterday reaffirming the UPND’s commitment to expanding educational support across Zambia.

Today, the President will travel across Lusaka, in Chawama and Kabwata, Munali, Lusaka Central and Roma, Lima and Matero. He will conclude on Wednesday 12 August in Mandevu, Kanyama and Makeni.
