HH Takes North-Western Tour to Chavuma, Zambezi, Kabompo and Kalumbila

President Hichilema continued on the campaign trail yesterday with the second leg of his North-Western tour, starting in Chavuma district, where he was greeted by thousands of people in anticipation of his arrival.

He reminded the people of the reforms the UPND have made since he came into government in 2021. Free education, the recruitment of teachers and job creation were among the achievements he highlighted.

He continued to Zambezi district, assuring the crowd that more CDF is to come and emphasising the importance of protecting the democratic process of voting ahead of the upcoming August General Election. He further highlighted infrastructure development and economic recovery under the UPND.

The President travelled to Kabompo District for another rally, where he was welcomed warmly by a large crowd dressed in the yellow and red UPND colours.

The final stop was Kiasa Ground in Kalumbila Constituency, where scores of people had braved the night, waiting for the President to address them. Thanking the community for their patience and warmth, President Hichilema promised that their support would be repaid with more development for all Zambians. He urged the people of Kalumbila to vote for him and the UPND come August, pledging to continue delivering development right across the country. He closed with a call to protect the gains made during the UPND's first term, telling the crowd that together, Zambia would only get better.

The President’s campaign continues today in Western Province.
