HH Rallies Central Province Voters

President Hakainde Hichilema has intensified his campaign in Central Province, urging voters in Luano, Kapiri Mponshi West and Ngabwe and Momboshi districts to turn out in large numbers and vote for the UPND in the upcoming August elections.

Addressing supporters in Luano District, President Hichilema thanked residents for what he described as their unwavering support and confidence in his administration. He said the government's focus remains on delivering tangible development through increased employment opportunities, expanded agricultural support and improved business prospects.

The President also expressed gratitude to traditional leaders in Luano for encouraging communities to support continued development and called on citizens to safeguard the country's progress through the ballot.

President Hichilema pledged that Luano would benefit from improved road infrastructure, additional schools and expanded healthcare facilities, saying these projects form part of the government's broader development agenda.

In Kapiri Mponshi West, the President reaffirmed his administration's commitment to accelerating development through the increased Constituency Development Fund (CDF). He promised more investment in roads, schools, health facilities and agriculture, while urging residents not to "lose direction" by returning to leaders they had voted out in 2021.

Meanwhile, in Ngabwe District, President Hichilema acknowledged concerns over the rising cost of living but assured residents that his government was implementing measures aimed at easing the economic burden on households.

He noted that investments in agriculture, improved road networks, bridges and telecommunications remained priorities for the district. The President also highlighted free education as one of the government's key achievements, saying it has enabled families to redirect resources towards other essential needs.

The President also assured residents of the newly created Momboshi Constituency that they would receive a fair share of national development through the enhanced Constituency Development Fund (CDF). He pledged continued investment in water supply, road infrastructure, health facilities and the construction of a secondary school in the area.

President Hichilema said his administration remains confident that, by working together, Zambia can attain greater economic and social progress. He concluded his campaign tour by urging the people of Momboshi and the rest of Central Province to turn out in large numbers on August 13, 2026, and vote for the UPND.
