Zambians Commend HH for Strengthening Political Freedoms

Many Zambians have commended President Hakainde Hichilema for fostering greater political freedoms since the New Dawn Administration took office.

People who spoke to ZNBC News said the country has experienced a calmer and more peaceful atmosphere, especially in markets and bus stations, where traders previously faced harassment, intimidation and demands for multiple unauthorised payments from various groups.

President of the Zambia National Marketeers Credit Association, Mupila Kameya, said market traders and small-scale farmers had endured challenging working conditions for many years. He added that the government's reforms have helped create a safer and more supportive environment in which businesses can operate and grow.
