ECZ Delegation Oversees Ballot Paper Printing in Dubai Ahead of 13 August Polls
Printing of ballot papers for Zambia's 13 August general election is set to begin in phases at Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing Company in Dubai, with production of the presidential ballot papers scheduled to begin tomorrow.
A delegation of election stakeholders, headed by Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Vice-Chairperson Vincent Mukanda, is in Dubai to oversee the printing process.
Major General (Retired) Mukanda is leading the delegation on an inspection of the company's facilities. During the visit, Al Ghurair Printing's Vice-President for Commercial and Business Development, Rajeev Tyagi, conducted a tour of the warehouse, printing hall and binding section.
Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing Company previously produced Zambia's ballot papers for the 2016 and 2021 general elections.
