NAPSA Distributes K10 Billion to Half a Million Zambians

The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has distributed K10 billion to more than 500,000 members through its partial withdrawal programme.

NAPSA Director General Muyangwa Muyangwa said eligible members receive their partial withdrawals every month.

The pension fund has seen remarkable growth, nearly doubling from K56 billion in 2021 to K109 billion today. Officials expect it to reach K133 billion soon.

All investments remain within Zambia's borders, Mr Muyangwa explained, designed to create employment and improve living conditions for ordinary Zambians.

The authority is currently focusing on the energy sector - described as a critical priority - alongside road infrastructure projects.

"We are investing where it matters most to Zambians right now," Mr Muyangwa said.
