ACA Arrest Senior Planner and Lands Officer For Corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested a Senior Planner at the Northern Provincial Planning Unit and a Lands Officer at the Ministry of Lands for abuse of authority of office, a press release from the ACC reveals.

The two men arrested have been identified as Titus Walima of Mensa Town and Peter Chisanga of Mobile Area in Kabwe. Between 1st January 2016 and 31st October 2016, the men illegally selected members of the public as beneficiaries of Property No. Kasam/In-240880—an act which is prejudicial to the rights or interests of the government.

Both Walima and Chisanga have since been released on bond and will appear in court later this month.
