Football Fans Set for Live Premier League Action on ZNBC

The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) has secured television broadcast rights for the English Premier League.

ZNBC Acting Head of Corporate Affairs Peter Nyongani said the agreement will enable the national broadcaster to provide live coverage of matches during the 2026/2027 Premier League season.

In a statement, Mr Nyongani said the first match to be broadcast will feature Nottingham Forest against Leeds United at 16:05 hours today.

He said the acquisition of the broadcast rights demonstrates ZNBC’s commitment to bringing world-class sporting content to the public.

Mr Nyongani has urged football fans, families and communities to tune in for the opening match and continue following the action throughout the season.

He added that full programme schedules, channel information and further details about upcoming matches will be communicated through ZNBC’s official platforms.
