VP Mutale Nalumango Praises HH for Enacting Five Key Bills
Vice President Mutale Nalumango has described the five bills that have been signed into law by President Hakainde Hichilema as progressive, she commended the President for being a visionary leader whose administration has positively impacted the nation. She added that the new legislation demonstrates care and love for Zambians.
Mrs. Nalumango spoke yesterday at the presidential assent ceremony, saying that the five Bills signed are examples of many reforms that have passed during the government’s five-year term. She further highlighted increased women’s representation in decision making as a key achievement of the UPND administration. Citing “women are leading very important institutions in our country. This must be encouraging to the youth, the female students that you are not waiting for nothing.”
Mrs. Nalumango said the President's decision to make free education law ensures that it is not subject to changes by individuals.
She added that social security provides hope and assurance to citizens, that it is “key to the future.”
Mrs. Nalumango said the UPND Administration has enacted progressive laws since 2021, making a difference for Zambian people.
