GBM Returns To Patriotic Front

GBM has broken his silence following news the UPND had suspended him with immediate effect on the weekend.

This morning the former UPND Vice President held a press conference and announced he would be re-joining the PF, despite spending the last three years criticising his government and the PF party.

Mwamba cited personal differences with the UPND President Hakainde Hichilema.

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema released a statement shortly after thanking GBM for his service:

‘We would like to thank our former Vice President Dr. Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba for the services he rendered to the party in our quest to run the country better. We wish our brother, GBM, all the best in his new journey and future endeavour. Further, we appeal to our party members and the nation to respect our brother's (GBM's) decision as it is his democratic right. May God bless our country.’
