Edith Nawakwi Back from Political Oblivion?

She played a prominent role in the 2016 elections, however Edith Nawakwi quickly disappeared following the controversial poll. Today she appeared a the Zambia Centre for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) convened for her political party.

The meeting is part of a process that will see ZCID collect. A list of changes that political parties would like to see in the constitution.

Speaking at the close of a two day sensitisation workshop with the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD), ZCID Executive Director Monica Kanjimana said ZCID is providing space for individual political parties under its auspices to make submissions in their individual capacities to the constitution review process.
