Longacres Vegas Annex Damaged By Fire

The popular night spot Vegas Annex Longacres has been gutted by fire. The fire broke out around 11:15 hours with the cause of the fire not yet known.

The club is one of the most popular of a chain of night spots spread between Lusaka and the Copperbelt.

It is one of the fee paying night spots that draws a regular weekend crowd in Lusaka and Ndola. Scores of onlookers watched in disbelief as the top floor of the building was billowing with smoke.
