Hichilema Vows to Fast-Track Northern Province Development

President Hakainde Hichilema has promised to accelerate development across Lupososhi, Lunte, Luwingu and Senga Hill as he wrapped up a series of community engagements in Northern Province yesterday.

The President said the UPND Government has delivered projects in all ten provinces since taking office, but was candid that more remains to be done to lift the living standards of ordinary Zambians.

Speaking to residents of Lupososhi on Saturday, he pledged continued investment in education, health, agriculture and business, promising to attract investors who will create jobs and open new opportunities for local people. In Lunte, he assured residents the district would keep receiving its fair share of national development, with more roads and greater support for local enterprise.

President Hichilema reminded communities that his Government had inherited a heavy external debt from the previous Patriotic Front administration, and was steadily restoring economic stability so that gains could reach every district.

In Luwingu, he committed to building more schools and health facilities to widen access to quality public services, while singling out agriculture as a priority that would strengthen food security and create employment. In Senga Hill, he promised better roads in both rural and urban areas, stronger farming support and improved health facilities.
