HH Urges for Continued Peace and Stability

President Hakainde Hichilema has called on the people of Zambia to partake in peaceful and stable activity during the 2026 elections.

The President said that “elections anywhere take time, and so do the results.” He reassured that this is evidence of throrough, credible and methodical election processes.

The President said that leaders should promote unity and peace as one nation. He asked that the rule of law is followed as we wait for the outcome reassuring that “our current trajectory is extremely good and assuring.”

He concluded with a reminder to remain patient, that we must all wait, with no exceptions.
