President Hichilema to Undertake Two-Day Tour of Eastern Province

President Hakainde Hichilema is scheduled to begin a two-day community outreach tour of Eastern Province tomorrow, during which he will meet residents across several districts.

Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Paul Thole announced that the President's itinerary will include visits to Chama, Chasefu, Lundazi and Lumezi on the first day of the tour.

According to Mr Thole, the second day will see President Hichilema travel to Nyimba, Petauke, Lusangazi and Sinda before concluding his visit to the province.

Addressing journalists, Mr Thole encouraged people across Eastern Province to turn out for the community engagements, describing them as an opportunity for residents to interact directly with the Head of State.

He added that the meetings would give the President a platform to outline the Government's development agenda, highlight progress made under its programmes and discuss measures aimed at improving the welfare of communities throughout the province.
