President Hichilema Wraps Up North-Western Campaign Day With Mwinilunga and Solwezi Engagements
President Hakainde Hichilema wrapped up a busy day of campaigning in North-Western Province today, taking the UPND's re-election message to communities in Mwinilunga before addressing a major public rally in Solwezi.
Addressing supporters at Kaunda Square in Mwinilunga, the President thanked residents for their warm welcome and reaffirmed the party's guiding message of love, care and continued delivery for all Zambians.
President Hichilema said road infrastructure remained a key priority for his administration, pledging to press ahead with roadworks and other economic fundamentals across the province.
The President later moved on to Solwezi District, greeting large crowds who showed up in yellow and red. He continued his community engagements as part of his working visit to North-Western Province, stressing that unity was essential to protecting the gains made and to advancing the next phase of Zambia's growth ahead of the 13 August general election.
President Hichilema spoke at the rallies today stressing that the UPND had fulfilled its promise of taking development to all constituencies of Zambia through different policies, he reassured that the country’s economic recovery, expanded social services, improved support for farmers and increased infrastructure development demonstrate that the UPND has delivered on its mandate and stressed it deserves another term in office.
He added that a renewed mandate would enable accelerated development programmes, more jobs and additional investment to improve the welfare of citizens across the country.
The President urged party members to conduct peaceful campaigns, emphasising the UPND’s message of unity, development and shared prosperity for every Zambian.
He concluded thanking the people who attended the rally and reinforced his confidence in the people of Mwinilunga and Solwezi to trust the UPND and deliver a victory that will secure continuity, stability, job creation and development for the Zambian people.
