ZCCM-IH Shareholders Approve K183 Million Dividend, Eleventh In A Row
Shareholders of ZCCM Investments Holdings have approved a final dividend of K183 million for the year ended December 2025, extending an unbroken run of annual payouts stretching back to 2015.
The dividend, worth K1.13 per share, is the company's eleventh consecutive distribution, according to a statement from ZCCM-IH Corporate Affairs Manager Loisa Mbatha.
Consistency of that kind is uncommon among mining investment holdings, whose earnings tend to move with commodity prices rather than against them. Maintaining a payout through eleven years covers a period that included a pandemic, a sovereign debt default and a copper price cycle that punished less resilient balance sheets.
The underlying numbers point the same way. Net asset value per share has reached K267.44, more than 235 per cent higher than in 2021. The share price on the Lusaka Securities Exchange rose 171 per cent during 2025 alone, from K65 to K166.
ZCCM-IH says it will launch a new ten-year strategy in November, built on raising income from royalties and dividends while stepping up investment in energy and copper production.
