Over 150 Mfuwe Entrepreneurs to Benefit from K1.3 Million CDF Allocation

About K1.3 million has been allocated to entrepreneurs in Lavushimanda District, Muchinga Province, under the Constituency Development Fund for Mfuwe.

The initiative is aimed at empowering more than 150 entrepreneurs in the area and boosting economic activity in the district.

Mfuwe Member of Parliament Mufunelo Malama says the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) is expected to begin disbursing the funds soon.

Mr Malama said the initiative forms part of government's efforts to stimulate business activity and promote sustainable livelihoods in local communities.

The CDF-supported empowerment programme is expected to provide much-needed capital to small and medium enterprises in the district, enabling them to expand their operations and create employment opportunities.

Entrepreneurs in Lavushimanda District have welcomed the allocation, saying access to funding has been a major challenge for local businesses seeking to grow.

The disbursement will support various business sectors including agriculture, trading, and services, contributing to economic diversification in the area.
